On my personal workstation at home I run Ubuntu, a community developed, linux-based operating system for laptop/PC (GNOME-desktop) or server (derived from the Debian kernel). "Ubuntu" is an African word meaning 'Humanity to others', or 'I am what I am because of who we all are'. It is a clean, spirited and well supported Linux distribution, although I equally like to work on Windows XP or Vista. To discover more go www.ubuntu.com. |
